Never send us the document you are having trouble with. We cannot receive documents and do not want them — describe the problem instead, or send a file you have made up for the purpose.

Common questions

"The file will not open." Password-protected PDFs are refused on purpose. Open the file in your usual reader, save a copy without the password, and try again. Files over 60 MB or 400 pages are also refused because the browser would run out of memory.

"My redacted page is no longer selectable text." That is the point. A page you redact is rebuilt from an image, so nothing on it can be copied out any more. Pages you did not mark keep their original text.

"The verification says something can still be found." The same words appear somewhere you did not cover — the panel names the page. Cover them there as well and export again.

"I covered a name but the panel searched nothing." The panel can only check text it could read under your box. On a scanned page there is no text layer at all: the area is painted over the image, but there is nothing to search for afterwards.

"Turkish characters look wrong in my form fields." They should not: we embed a font with the full Latin-Extended set. If a reader still shows boxes, it is usually an old Acrobat version rendering with its own substitute font — tell us which reader and version.

"I lost my licence code." It lives in your browser's storage on the device where you subscribed, and in the footer of the app while the subscription is active. If you cleared it, write to us from the email you used at Stripe checkout.

"How do I cancel?" "Manage subscription" in the footer opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access lasts until the end of the period you paid for.

See the data removal page. In short: send us your licence code and we delete the row. Your documents were never ours to delete — they never left your browser.
